British-born but now resident in Spain, she has been working as a language teacher for over 20 years and specifically as an English Language teacher for 10 of those. She has worked in several countries (Britain, Spain, France, Portugal, Albania, Macedonia and Venezuela), in a full range of educational establishments and educational systems as both a teacher and a trainer.
Currently, her principal job is in a language academy in Spain where she teaches all ages, from children to adults, across all levels. However, since 2010, she has also been regularly involved in the training of teachers, from primary to secondary, in language and methodology. Since 2014, she has been delivering CLIL methodology training to primary and secondary teachers and, more recently, to university professors in the Mathematics, Engineering, Agricultural and Science faculties of the University of Extremadura in Spain and the Polytechnic of Portalegre in Portugal.
In addition, since 2007, she has been a Speaking Examiner for Cambridge English Language Assessment, fully trained to assess all levels.
Since 2016, she has been collaborating with Global-CPD projects as a STEM /CLIL methodology trainer on various international projects.
BA Hons in Modern Languages and Social Anthropology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education, a CELTA and currently studying a second degree Bsc(Hons) in Natural Science (Physics).
