Adam Tucker

Biodata

Adam Tucker was born and grew up in Norwich, East Anglia, and went on to receive a BA (Hons) in Business Studies at Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, Scotland. After studying at Texas State University, USA, he attained Texas Educator Certification for middle and high schools. Adam then decided to move into the EFL industry and studied for his Cambridge CELTA and DELTA in London. Most recently, he completed a British Council Professional Award for Teacher Educators at NILE, Norwich.

 

Over the past 10 years, Adam has taught English as a foreign language to students of all ages from all over the world. During his time as a senior teacher at an international language school in London, he organized and delivered teaching workshops and provided training for new teachers. In addition to private language school teaching, Adam also has several years of experience teaching Cambridge and Trinity exam preparation courses in Italian state schools. He has taught in London, Naples, and Lazio, and is currently the co-owner and academic director of an English school near Rome, Italy. As part of this role, Adam conducts in-house language assessments, designs, and delivers tailored courses, in addition to observing and providing constructive feedback to the teaching team. 


Adam is passionate about using a student-centered approach to learning and engaging learners by employing a range of technology in the classroom. He believes that as of 21st educators we must not shy away from using technological innovations in order to enhance the learning experience.
